Wild blueberry (bilberry, V. myrtillus) is very different from the cultivated blueberries (V. angustifolium, V. corymbosum). In our blueberry juice, we use only handpicked, wild-crafted berries from pristine and fruitful organic forests in Estonia, Finland or Sweden. Bilberries growing in Nordic countries are rich in nutrients compared to the cultivated varieties. Northern conditions are characterized by long days with much light and low temperatures during the growing season. Due to this, berries produce more polyphenols (antioxidants, which gives the wild blueberry its characteristic colour). Wild blueberries contain several times more flavonoids and 4 times as much anthocyanin than cultivated blueberries. The organic blueberries juice has no added sugar and is cold-pressed directly from fresh organic wild bilberries and lightly pasteurized, to provide the good nutrients for you. Loov use flash pasteurization method ? the juice is heated and not boiled. Compared to other pasteurization processes, it is gentle and the juice maintains its colour and flavour. Antioxidants have also been preserved. The organic wild blue berry juice is full of vitamins. There is no water or sugar added. Just 100% pure juice, and nothing else!
